The Public Choice Society is proud to introduce the inaugural class of 2026 Founders Fellows—32 distinguished members whose consistent participation, scholarly contributions, and visible leadership have helped strengthen the Society year after year. Through regular attendance at annual meetings, presentation of research, and active engagement in sessions and discussions, these Fellows exemplify the intellectual curiosity and collegial spirit that define PCS. Named in honor of six foundational figures in public choice scholarship—Gordon Tullock, William Riker, Vincent Ostrom, Otto Davis, Mancur Olson, and James S. Coleman — this first cohort reflects the Society’s commitment to recognizing those who enrich its community and help ensure its continued vitality for future generations.
